Port of Oslo invites the public / you together with many partners to a great day along Oslo’s Harbour Promenade (Havnepromenaden),  from Filipstad in the west to Bjørvika in the east.  

Experience open boats, maritime adventures, pirate theater, art, culture, sports and more. Explore the history and future of the harbor while discovering a unique marine environment.  

There will be family friendly activities for all ages. 

Stroll the harbor promenade from Trettenparken at Filipstad all the way to Bjørvika.

POST – DRONES AND UNDERWATER SCULPTURE 
Test underwater drones. Build and race your own rubber-band boat. Get a guided tour of Oceanlab – the marine laboratory where technology for sustainable oceans is being researched. Oslo Met, Trettenparken.

Step aboard Port of Oslo’s electric environmental boat Pelikan II, which hauls in tons of trash from the fjord each year. Oslo Havn KF, Honnørbrygga. 

POST  – LIGHTHOUSE SAFARI WITH SJØBAD II AND MS BRISEN TO DYNA, HEGGHOLMEN, AND KAVRINGEN 
See the lighthouses from the sea and hear their fascinating stories. Guided tour aboard the bathing boat Sjøbad II at 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM. Registration for both departures is at 12:00 noon. Max. 40 people per trip. Children under three must bring their own life jacket. Guided tour on the electric boat Brisen at 3:15 PM – approx. 4:15 PM. No registration, first-come, first-served. POST WITNESS A MARITIME PILOT IN ACTION 
Get an up-close look at how maritime pilots and pilot boat operators steer vessels safely through the demanding waters of Oslofjord. Monitor live traffic from shore alongside the Vessel Traffic Service. Strap on a VR headset and navigate the fjord approach through the pilot's own eyes. Norwegian Coastal Administration

Meet VisitOSLO's cycling tourist info team as they bike along the harbor promenade, with tips on sights and activities. Enter the Oslo Pass competition for free entry to city museums and attractions.  POST  – DRAW WITH CHALK Children are invited to draw with chalk and help create a collective artwork on the quay. Skur 38 was built for the Norwegian America Line. Today, it has been restored and serves as the headquarters for Port of Oslo. Explore the harbor's past, present, and future. POST  – HISTORIC HARBOR WALKS 
12:00 PM: 200 years of emigration history from Vippetangen to Langkaia. 2:00 PM: a 1-kilometer walk through 400 years of Oslo harbor history. Led by historian Erik Ødemark.  Walks start outside Port of Oslo's main entrance, located at Akershusstranda 19 (Skur 38), Vippetangen.

POST - "SHIP O' HOI": A PERFORMANCE WHERE CHILDREN STEER THE COURSE

POST – THE SCHOONER SVANEN
