Quay Dues
Vessels calling at Oslo and using public quays must pay quay dues. Quay dues are the vessel’s payment for using the port and Port of Oslo’s quays.
Per gross ton (GT): NOK 0.85
Cargo Dues
Vehicles, import/export incl. buses, chassis, per tonne: NOK 86
General cargo, goods on flats, and unspecified goods, incl. industrial and agricultural machinery, per tonne: NOK 24
Goods in containers, per unit: NOK 221
Goods in road vehicles and semi-trailers, per unit: NOK 185
Exemptions from Cargo Dues
Passenger baggage Provisions, oil, and ship supplies for the vessel’s own needs Containers, pallets, etc., that are not commercial goods
Passenger and Vehicle Charges
For arriving and departing passengers, passenger cars, and buses in international ferry traffic, the shipping company will be invoiced according to the following rates:
Passengers, children, and adults, per person: NOK 6,9
Passenger cars, per unit: NOK 26.50
Buses, per unit: NOK 53
Environmental Fee
For ships calling at Port of Oslo’s quays, an additional charge per GT is applied to finance and develop zero-emission solutions, currently shore power facilities for vessels.
A surcharge of NOK 0.10 applies to international ferries.
Ships using shore power facilities established and financed by parties other than Port of Oslo are exempt from the surcharge.
Discounts
For international ferries (RoPax), a 32% discount on quay dues is granted. Discounts can be combined, but the total discount cannot exceed 40%.
Environmental Discount
Ships registered in the Environmental Ship Index (ESI) with a total score above 40 points receive a 20% discount on quay dues.
Ships registered in ESI with a total score above 30 points receive a 10% discount on quay dues.
