Oil companies import a variety of products into the Norwegian market. Forty per cent of Norway’s fuel oil comes through Sjursøya. Every day, two trains, almost a thousand feet in length each, transport aviation fuel from the port to Oslo airport.
The oil companies Uno-X Forsyning AS, St1 Norge AS, Circle K Norge AS (Norwegian) and Oslo Airport Tankanlegg (OLT AS) own and operate facilities in the area. Sisterne Drift DA operates facilities at Ekebergåsen on behalf of the oil companies.
