Norway's leading passenger port
About 6 million travellers arrive in Oslo by sea each year - either on ferries from Denmark or Germany, on cruise ships or charterboats, or on the local ferries.
Tingvalla quay at Aker Brygge is the busiest ferry hub in the country. Boats depart from here for Nesodden and Slemmestad. About one million passengers are carried annually by local ferries to Bygdøy and islands in the Oslo Fjord.
Never before have so many cruise tourists come to Oslo, and we expect new records in the years to come.
