Supplies Norway with oil
Oslo is a major oil port. 25% of the country's oil consumption in housing and fuel enters through Sjursøya. Every day, two 300 meter long trains with jet fuel heads for Oslo Airport, Gardermoen.
At the oil port at Sjursøya the companies Statoil ASA , Norske Shell AS , Uno -X Energi As and Esso Norge are importing various oilproducts to the Norwegian market.
Sisterne Drift DA (formerly known as Ekeberg Oil Storage DA) operates the oil storage facilities for the four oil companies.
